The primary purpose of the position
This position is a member of IT SAP COE, reporting to the IT Team Lead or Section Lead who is responsible for their respective technical area. The incumbent will work in partnership with global and cross-functional IT teams. This position is responsible for supporting application development in SAP applications and related systems.

 

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

Analyze functional connectivity requirements and provide technical middleware solutions and documentation for SAP PI / PO middleware systems Collaborate with the author of the functional specifications to understand the application development requirements and perform middleware development in accordance with the global development standards Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues relating to SAP PI / PO connectivity scenarios and perform root cause analysis Provide support and participate in testing and defect resolution Conduct on-boarding sessions for new hires and contractors

 

Job Qualifications 

Minimum of 5 years SAP PI/PO Application Development experience Able to deliver prompt, efficient, quality service to the business Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication with a very good command of spoken and written English Able to work flexible working hours as required on special occasions

 

Required Technical Qualifications:

Strong PI / PO system knowledge  Format knowledge (IDOC, XML)  Message Mapping (Graphical, UDF)  Adapter knowledge (File, IDOC, Soap, AS2)

 

Good to have Technical Qualifications:

Format knowledge (JSON, EDIFACT, ANSI X12) Message Mapping (Java, XSLT) Adapter knowledge (JDBC, OFTP2, Rest, Mail) Agile development knowledge Knowledge in SAP Cloud Integration Additional functional module knowledge on SAP SD/MM, ABAP, HANA
