Job Description
Reporting to the Chief of Staff and allocated to Network refresh program manager, and working in Katowice, Poland you will plan and implement activities related to procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. Being closer to vendor you are expected to ensure we have vision on the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. You'll manage sourcing and supplying equipment, raw materials, utilities, and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts for the program. You'll review and plan requirements for acceptable inventory. You may work with Facilities and IT regional teams in auditing inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies and needs.
Your Responsibilities - you will do:
Review equipment bill of materials with supplier to identify complete shipmentsFrom the financial processes input manages to result in purchase orders being sent to vendors for equipment to be shipped to sitesControl the allocation of inventory to ensure alignment with program schedule, this means having closer relationship with vendors in way to have the end-to-end purchasing process complete (from getting quotes, ETAs and equipment delivered at the sites) as plannedMaintain accurate accounting of total allocated items from the original bulk orders and associated secondary ordersAttend program meetings to report progressThe Essentials - you have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related.Legal authorization to work within the region where you are hired (permission to stay and work in Poland).Fluent English. English spoken will be your primary language on daily workPrevious experience managing procurement process in IT for large organizationsFamiliar with IT Network environment and gear verbiage and conventionsMinimum 5 years working in infrastructure/network projects and/or network operationsAbility to manage Procure to Pay processes in SAP environmentThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Demonstrated ability to balance competing requirements and interests, with a focus on top priorities, finding opportunities to achieve win-win or obtain acceptance/agreement to compromise.Ability to successfully work across organizational boundaries, including strong relationship management skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups and ability to write & maintain technical documentation.What We Offer:
