Global IT Project Senior Specialist - Meetings & Events
WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Tech Hosting Senior Specialist - Meetings & Events, you will be an integral part of the tech hosting team that supports virtual and hybrid meetings. Your responsibilities include managing and coordinating end-to-end virtual meetings.

The Meetings & Events Technical Services (METS) team is the technical partner for any BCG-hosted meetings and events, internal or external. METS is a global team of technical experts with a wide network of AV meeting services (network, print, etc.) and virtual meeting solutions (Zoom, MS-Teams, etc.). As meetings increasingly go virtual, the future will feature a mix of virtual and in-person elements to effectively connect participants and speakers.


YOU'RE GOOD AT

Provide Tech hosting services to meet business demand specifically covering North America internal customers

Managing stakeholders, and developing key stakeholder relationships

Communicating with senior level internal customers

Leading understanding customer event requirements, outcomes and needs, converting these into a run of show to manage the virtual event and deliver Tech hosting services

Solution map customer needs to event technology (Zoom & MS Teams)

Problem-solving with strong analytical skills, taking initiative, and finding innovative solutions.

Positive collaboration across functions and teams, with attention to detail, setting priorities, and resolving critical issues.

Demonstrating clear and concise communication, managing conversations and meetings effectively.

Demonstrating responsiveness, initiative, and a strong orientation towards services and broader business needs.

Co-creating new Virtual meeting service offerings


YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Strong understanding of the latest virtual meeting tools (Zoom, MS-Teams).

Thorough knowledge of virtual event delivery, planning, and steering through demand management.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to learn and adhere to BCG’s standards for conducting high-quality Zoom meetings/webinars.

Experience in leading virtual meetings and events, including establishing event objectives and outcomes

Providing advice and guidance to internal customers to get the most out of the available technology creating amazing virtual experiences for attendees

Ability to work with a diverse customer base

Capable of identifying and addressing challenges at their root causes and understanding their impact.

Minimum of 6 years IT experience and minimum of 2 years’ experience is virtual meetings and events
