Global IT Software Engineer Manager
WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Global IT Software Engineer Manager, you will be at the forefront of BCG's AI journey, playing a pivotal role in integrating our GenAI chatbot with external systems such as ServiceNow. Leveraging your full stack and integration expertise, you will build robust solutions that enhance our digital support tools. Your key responsibilities include designing, coding, and unit testing new features, applying creative problem-solving skills, and integrating solutions within various domains.

A significant part of your role will involve working extensively with APIs to ensure seamless integration of our GenAI chatbot with other systems. You will develop, configure, and manage APIs to facilitate smooth data exchange and functionality across platforms. This project is a crucial part of BCG’s AI strategy, driving innovation and efficiency in our IT support systems. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of our GenAI platform, aligning with BCG’s mission to leverage cutting-edge technology for operational excellence.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent Expertise in full stack development, with a focus on front-end and integration Experience with ServiceNow, particularly the ServiceNow Service Portal Strong proficiency in API development and configuration Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, and JavaScript Knowledge of developing Cloud Native apps
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be a key member of the IT & Business Platforms (ITBP) team, contributing to the development of BCG's flagship GenAI use case for an IT support chatbot. This chatbot will be a critical component in transforming IT support through AI-driven solutions. Your team will work closely with the Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team, which is responsible for building the shared GenAI platform. This platform will support multiple GenAI use cases across the company, ensuring scalable and robust AI solutions. The close collaboration between ITBP and CPE will be essential for the successful implementation and integration of the self-service chatbot and other innovative AI solutions, driving BCG's broader AI transformation agenda.
