Global IT System Trainer and Support Analyst

An employer in the gasket and sealing manufacturing industry is seeking a Global IT System Trainer and Support Analyst to train staff on software systems and applications as well as provide ongoing technical support. In regard to system training this person would develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and end-users on various IT systems and applications and create user manuals, training materials, and documentation tailored to the specific needs of users. Additionally, they would assess the effectiveness of training programs and modify content based on feedback and evolving system updates, and stay current on new software, tools, and system upgrades to integrate into training sessions. From a technical support standpoint this person would provide 1st line end-user support for IT systems, resolving technical issues and troubleshooting problems, as well as collaborate with IT teams to identify and resolve recurring technical issues and improve system functionality, and maintain a knowledge base of common IT issues and resolutions for internal use. They will escalate critical issues to senior technical teams when necessary and follow up until resolved. This person will be responsible for user engagement and feedback in fostering positive relationships with employees by maintaining a user-centric approach to both training and support, conducting post-training evaluations to gather feedback and improve future sessions, and monitor support tickets and identify areas where additional training may be needed to reduce recurring issues. They will be responsible for reporting and documentation by preparing regular reports on system usage, training effectiveness, and common support issues, and ensuring all support requests are documented properly in the support ticketing system.
