Can you influence project design, specifications & engineering in larger CAPEX projects?** **If yes, then join the Global KAM of Industry division in Grundfos!** **What is the job about?** Grundfos is on the lookout for a skilled Global Key Account Manager to spearhead business development within designated Global EPC & Consultants. This pivotal role focuses on driving new business with top-tier Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms, consultants, and project contractors within our Global Key Account team in the Industry Division. **Your main responsibilities:** + Responsibility for selecting and driving relationships with designated EPCs and Consultants in the Global Key Account team. + Develop a clear strategy for where to play and how to win the selected accounts and through prospection, outreach and stakeholder management develop opportunities and influence projects to successfully win orders. + Focusing on specific greenfield industrial projects within the account scope related to F&B, Pharma, Green Energy and Semiconductor verticals. Utilizing business intelligence software to identify and capitalize on new project opportunities at an early-stage to influence design & build before RFQ stage. + Identify and manage all stakeholders involved in Industrial projects to ensure control of specification and route to market for Grundfos in collaboration with regional peers. + Guide and coordinate the full efforts across the project life cycle with Grundfos’ project teams across regional markets + Support proposal & project engineers across regions with insights, relationships and intel specific to projects and parties involved. + Responsibility for market intelligence, within the Industrial Project business in conjunction with marketing resources to help elevate knowledge of EPCs & Consultants in the global landscape. + Mentoring role to less experienced colleagues, knowledge-sharing responsibilities. + Develop product and application training programme for target EPCs & Consultants. Create greater awareness of Grundfos as a viable supplier in the Industrial project market. + Maintain regular customer contact with the overall purpose of developing the relationship and business for Grundfos + Develop and convert the opportunity pipeline to order, utilize SAP CRM package to record all customer activities in line with company procedures **Your background:** + Min. a Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering field combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role + Experience in the pump or industrial utilities industry - essential + Experience in working with EPCs, Consultants and managing tendering of larger projects + Ability to create a business plan and develop new EPC & consultant accounts + Experience developing and implementing strategies and strategic plans + Ability to start with “the end in mind”, then work backwards to develop strategies, action plans, and goal measurements. + Develop a clear vision of what is happening currently and in the future regarding focused markets + Ability to make business presentations at all levels of management and to various sizes of audiences. + Strategic planning ability with the skill to drive ideas and initiatives in a large organization. + Excellent computer skills – Microsoft packages, SAP experience would be advantageous + Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. + High English proficiency is mandatory + Proficiency in Spanish, French, or Dutch can be an advantageous skill **What’s in it for you?** Whether it’s developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path.
