What You'll Do
The Global L&D Service Center assumes responsibility for managing participant pools across our L&D Journeys. We provide essential support in planning, preparation, and execution of all journeys, including tasks such as LMS management, calendar scheduling, virtual live program hosting, training material preparation, backend operations, data analysis, and tracking journey performance metrics.
We are seeking a motivated Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator to join our team and take on a pivotal role in supporting our Global Learning Operations team tailored for our consulting and business service teams. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a flair for handling multiple tasks seamlessly.
The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in email writing and data analysis, demonstrate flexibility in handling repetitive tasks, and serve as a role model for efficiency and professionalism.The Global L&D Team thrives on dynamism and adaptability, consistently aligning with the evolving needs of the business. Flexibility is crucial in our roles, which adjust according to global priorities. While specific responsibilities may shift, the initial focus areas of this role will likely include:
acting as a key liaison between participants, presenters, and event logistics.Strategically assist in scheduling virtual classes, accommodating diverse time zones and cohorts
to ensure optimal participation and engagement.Oversee virtual sessions, manage breakout activities, and monitor chat interactions to deliver a
seamless and interactive virtual experience.Manage the entire participant lifecycle, from initial registration and invitation distribution to
tracking final attendance.Maintain consistent and professional communication with participants, addressing inquiries,
cancellation requests, and logistical concerns throughout the event lifecycle.Collaborate with the program team, conducting briefing sessions, and ensuring their
preparedness for each event.Update and maintain the training database, tracking participant statuses, registrations,
cancellations, presenter information, and training hours.Provide analytical and control support to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and events,
offering data-driven recommendations for improvements.Demonstrate advanced proficiency in email communication and Excel to efficiently manage
tasks and streamline processes.Drive conversations and exhibit professionalism in interactions, serving as a role model and go-to person for the team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior members to ensure overall
team success
What You'll Bring
Undergraduate degree, studies in management or communications.Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools, video conferencing platforms, and Microsoft OfficeSuite. Knowledge and confidence in Zoom are an advantage.Proficiency in database management and data entry, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.3-5 years of relevant work-experience, preferred in HR, L&D, or event management,
experience from a professional service firm is a plus.Experience at BCG preferred, especially understanding of BCG culture and practices.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for participants
and stakeholders.Experience with working in a virtual environment a plus.Exposure and hands on experience on LMS (SABA, Successfactors, Adobe..etc) or any
HRMS systemIdeally international experience during studies or professional employment. Awareness
of cultural differences and willingness to adapt workstyle to a multi-cultural environment
Who You'll Work With
The Global L&D Coordinator functions as a key member within the Global L&D Service Center, an integral component of the worldwide Learning & Development Team. Operating as a \"virtual, global training team,\" this unit is distributed across various BCG offices. This role is embedded within BCG Nexus Costa Rica.
Within this context, the role thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, intellectually stimulating, and service-focused milieu. The Global L&D Coordinator collaborates closely with Learning & Development Program Managers, Finance, and other pertinent segments of BCG, fostering seamless synergy.
