The Global L&D Transformation Senior Change & Communications Manager will be critical in the advancement of Learning@BCG’s strategic priorities and requires an individual with a range of skills across project management, change management & influencing, communications and people leadership. We have high expectations and our ambition is to become the best talent developer in the world.

 

The Global L&D Transformation Senior Change & Communications Manager brings Change Management knowledge and expertise and experience of collaborating with multiple stakeholders across a matrix led organization like BCG.

 

You will report to the Global L&D Transformation Director, working primarily with our regional and local L&D colleagues to actively drive the change management of our function. You will also coordinate with the broader global/regional functions (e.g. regional and global People Teams) to ensure we embed our messaging in the wider People Team change agenda.

Ensure the L&D vision is understood and bought in by our learners, firm leadership as well as our L&D community and collaborative partnersDrive the change “on the ground” by ensuring we have local buy-in from both L&D teams but also their local system leadership who can drive and need to continue to strengthen our learning cultureProactively raise potential pain points and collaboratively ensure timely resolution is achieved, ensuring overall success of the transformation

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As thought partner and change manager to the system and regional L&D teams

You will oversee:Change agenda to drive usage and adoption of best practicesDevelop key messages (e.g. “case for change”) that demonstrate the ‘what’s in it for you’ to the various audiences (i.e. what value does L&D deliver to you and your learners), including supporting local teams with “playbooks” with ready to use materials for sharing with senior stakeholders (e.g. system leaders, local People Chair etc.)Drive adoption of a strengthened learning culture (e.g. improved support to fully participate in learning experiences)Leverage the defined transformation KPIs (e.g. # increase in learning hours, how many have we upskilled in distinctive expertise topics like GenAI, Climate & Sustainability etc.) to celebrate success and also focus team on areas with gaps to closeFacilitate best practice sharing of across different systems and regionsWork closely with regional and local L&D teams as a thought partner on devising and delivering functional process changes and ensure successful implementation

As thought partner with the global L&D leadership team

Establish strong relationships with key L&D managers and directors to identify key target audiences and unique selling propositions/ messages for further support with the L&D Transformation with particular focus in parts of our organization that is experiencing the most amount of changeDevelop strategic change management roadmap to support the overall L&D change effort, and then execute with speedAnalyze impact of change management effort, and where we need to accelerate futher and proactively seek support to achieve required momentum

What You'll Bring

You have at least a bachelor’s degree and preferably an advanced degreeYou bring a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a professional services organization and/or heavily matrixed organization.You work autonomously, independently, with only broad direction and you are very proactivePreferably, you have relevant background in CD/ Talent teams or consulting, with experience in team and project managementYou are comfortable working in a virtual environment and with a geographically distributed teamExcellent verbal and written communication (Fluency in English writing and speaking)Excellent MS PowerPoint, ExcelInternal BCG candidate preferred due to existing knowledge of the culture and business landscape
