As the Global Lead Buyer for CAPEX Equipment & Automation at Sanofi, you will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for the Equipment packaging category across all business units globally. Your role will support global operations through streamlined, cost-effective procurement strategies that enhance operational excellence and ensure reliable supplier partnerships. This pivotal role is integral to our commitment to health, safety, and innovation as we continue to impact communities worldwide.

About you

Experience

7 + years' experience in Procurement specializing in CAPEX Equipment & Automation in highly regulated industry

Soft skills

Proven track record in building and leading cross-functional teams while influencing stakeholdersProven track record in category management, supplier negotiations, contract management, and deployment of digital maintenance solutionsCapacity to think out of the box with a problem-solving approach to contribute to the strategyResults oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, notably on large data setsKnowledge of SAP MM module and any CMMS toolProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointTrained into crisis managementKnowledge of Pharma GMP work environmentGood understanding of finance and legal aspectsFlexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results orientedProven project managementTechnical and commercial NegotiationCommunication skills - Assertiveness, ability to convince/influence others and excellent presentation skillsAble to quickly assimilate new information/skillsReadily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of workingTeam player with excellent interpersonal sensitivityRole model in compliance and ethics

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or another relevant field

Languages

Excellent command of both written and spoken English required (other language is a plus)
