JOB SUMMARY
The Global Logistics Analyst is responsible for supporting streamlining operations, enhancing efficiencies, & driving continuous improvement within the Supply Chain dome. They will do this through relationship building, data collection, and report creation and analysis in a fast-paced operational setting. They will be involved in the development and execution of supply chain initiatives, including flow planning, KPI development, score carding, and supply chain processes evolution, thus ensuring meeting the demands of the business. Maintain appropriate analytical techniques to create information which supports business decision-making. Monitors usage of reports and data and determines relevancy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Monitor and collect data on current operations across all of supply chain including scheduling, sourcing, warehousing, storage and delivery Gather data on each step within the supply chain, using it to assist leaders in recommending changes to reduce costs or drive efficiency Analyze P&L impacts of strategic projects, track cost savings and avoidance, and present findings to leadership Analyze data, make recommendations, and create action to improve efficiency of supply chain Utilizes reporting to assist in process management with members of the Supply Chain team to ensure timely execution & management of systems workflow Assist with supply chain optimization projects Aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources to develop tools to support supply chain initiatives Collaborate with power users to continuously enhance and document Data Designs and Standards based on new learnings, new capabilities, and functionality Participate in projects that work with Business Intelligence team to automate data analytic models for regular reporting. Provide research & analysis support for competitive insights and macro-economic factors with a continuous improvement mindset
QUALIFICATIONS
Self starter with strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills 1-3 years experience in a Supply Chain operations role preferred Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, logistics, computer science or related fields or similar field Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred Experience working in and maintaining databases and other platforms relevant to company process Experience with data modeling, mining, mapping and monitoring Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Working knowledge of data analysis and building forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data Strong collaboration skills to work with both internal and external partners Relentless attention to detail Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes Supply Chain Management certification is preferred
