Your role
As the Global Manager of QHSSE Improvements and Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing safety standards across our global operations. A key aspect of your role will be to equip leadership with data-driven insights, enabling informed decisions on safety resource allocation and strategic initiatives. Your efforts will ensure that resources are focused on areas with maximum impact, driving continuous improvement in our safety practices.
This role will also involve conducting statistical modeling to identify patterns in safety incidents. This will include analyzing incidents through a scientific lens, examining contributing factors such as engineering principles, biomechanics, and ergonomics. By understanding incidents based on scientific principles, you will develop targeted strategies to mitigate risks and enhance safety.
In this senior role, you will spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge safety technologies, staying ahead of emerging trends to keep our organization at the forefront of safety innovation. Your innovative approach will be crucial in maintaining our competitive edge. Additionally, you will create a safety in design initiative to standardize specific design solutions. By consulting with designers and engineers and conducting technical safety reviews at crucial design milestones.
Quantifying global QHSSE performance will be another critical responsibility. You will introduce new indicators beyond traditional metrics, enabling us to compare our current state against internal goals. Utilizing data analytics, you will identify variations, inefficiencies, and areas requiring standardization. By integrating data sources from various departments and offices, you will conduct comprehensive analyses and combine diverse datasets to gain a holistic understanding of QHSSE practices company-wide.

What You Bring:
Preferably a M.Sc. degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
Relevant working experience in a similar role.
Capacity to digest complex information, identify trends, and think analytically.
Ability to gain trust from senior stakeholders and function effectively in a matrix organization. Ability to perform well in an international setting.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
