About the Role:

As an intern at Takeda in Zurich/Neuchâtel, you will have the opportunity to tackle real-world business challenges, build valuable connections, engage in many events and activities and receive guidance from experienced mentors as you develop your skills and advance your professional career.

How you will contribute:

Project Outline

You will be working in our international, friendly Device Sciences team / Global Manufacturing Sciences

You will be assigned to support a workstream of a major project dealing with development and manufacturing of combination products and drug delivery devices

Using your theoretical and/or practical knowledge of mechanical or biomedical engineering you will help analyze/investigate/create reports on device development and manufacturing

The planned output of the internship will be to gain general knowledge on development and manufacturing of combination products and drug delivery devices

The earliest start date for the internship will be June 2025 with an anticipated length of 3 months

What you bring to Takeda:

Curiosity and collaboration skills will ensure you effectively handle your project and make a valuable impact

Active enrollment at a university or a university of applied sciences or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering

Using appropriate communication, you will provide updates and reports on your activities, essential for steering your work and integrating into the team

Must be authorized to work in Switzerland without the need for additional immigration sponsorship, housing allowance or relocation requirements.

Experience with data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python)

Proficiency with simulation software such as ANSYS or ABAQUS
