Pay: Starting at $150K/yr depending on experience Location: Rolling Meadows, IL Hybrid Schedule This is a contracted position starting immediatley and ending December 2027 How you'll make an impact As a Global Marketing & Communications (MarComms) Program Manager (PM), you will be responsible for: Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of key initiatives within Marketing, Brand, and Corporate Communications and serve as a key project advisor for internal stakeholders and third-party vendors. You will develop detailed project plans and timelines that set clear milestones; deliverables will be a top priority. Overseeing multiple projects and workstreams, you will be charged with defining the scope, timeline, resources, key deliverables, and risks for each assigned project. A key responsibility will be driving accountability, providing regular reports to leadership from project kick-off to completion, and ensuring the successful completion of each project on time and within a defined budget and personnel. Quickly identify and overcome project roadblocks and partner with stakeholders on problem-solving. You will communicate any risks to achieving project milestones and provide creative solutions and guidance to mitigate any risk to completing a project Building relationships across Marketing, Brand, and Corporate Communications teams to become a trusted advisor and to energize teams with regular updates on the progress of our high-priority projects, including planning for the company’s upcoming 100th anniversary and other high-visibility Marketing, Brand, and Corporate Communication campaigns. Providing counsel on project management best practices and identifying opportunities for Marketing, Brand, and Corporate Communications teams to work even more efficiently and effectively in planning, executing, and delivering key projects. The Project Manager will be encouraged to identify and develop new ways of working that maximize resources and the potential of defined project teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Gains a detailed understanding of current Marketing, Brand, and Corporate Communications priorities and identifies opportunities to implement a standardized project delivery approach that enables high-quality deliverables on time and within defined project constraints. Partners with project leaders to clearly define the objectives, key deliverables, timelines, required personnel, budget, review-approval process, and success metrics for each project. Provides a clear and repeatable approach for each assigned project that results in engaged employees, high-quality work, two-way communication, and informed leadership. Manages Marketing and Communications vendors as required. Actively measures, monitors, and reports on project activities, milestones, dependencies, status, KPIs, and issues/risks. Regularly communicates updates and lessons learned to project teams, stakeholders, and leadership. Supports Gallagher’s Marketing and Corporate Communications leadership in driving success. About You Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. Must have a minimum of 3 years of progressive project management experience in a corporate environment. Proven ability to support and manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills Strong written and verbal communicator, experience presenting project plans to corporate leaders Advanced proficiency in M365 tools, including MS Office suite, Project, Teams, and SharePoint. Preferred: 10 years of project management in a large, matrixed corporation PMP certification preferred Experience supporting a Marketing, Brand, and/or Corporate Communications organization Experience working in the insurance industry is a bonus Behaviors: Highly motivated, creative, and collaborative self-starter who can articulate the exciting outcomes each project will deliver and rally/engage cross-functional teams to bring those outcomes to life. Strong organizational and relationship-building skills to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional teams, and adapt to changing requirements and environments with limited oversight. Ability to communicate complex processes to all levels of leadership, aligning communication style to the needs of the stakeholder. Adaptability and demonstrated ability to quickly shift gears from developing strategy & plans to dealing with operational matters. Excellent presence and ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization, as well as drive impact without direct authority. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
