Global Mobility Finance Specialist

**Please note:** This is not a Remote role and will require the incumbent to be based in the country where the person will be hired and follow a hybrid work schedule. This is an Individual Contributor role.
International Assignments are a constantly changing and complex environment due to the requirement of balancing of multiple jurisdictions' rules and regulations. To achieve this balance, it is necessary to maintain strong processes, diligence in tax compliance, and accurate payroll reporting. The **Global Mobility Finance Specialist** role is being established as part of the Global Mobility team's continued drive to emerge stronger. The individual will support mobility operations finance team in their operational tasks with a primary focus on tax compliance, tax reimbursements and receivables, payroll reporting and vendor invoice management.
**What You'll Do for Us** :
+ Assist in the generation of the annual tax eligibility list.
+ Prepare quarterly hypothetical tax reconciliations for LTI compensation for Headquarters-based assignees (non-US filers only).
+ Tracking the Company's tax reimbursement payments and receivables, and co-ordinate follow ups with associates as required.
+ Work with the tax services vendor to monitor completion of tax filings and tax briefings, and escalate non-compliance as required.
+ Assist in the co-ordination of the annual compensation summary process including obtaining documents from key stakeholders, ensuring tax and payroll teams complete sign-off on a timely basis, and delivery to the tax services vendor.
+ Work closely with the Global Mobility Payroll team to arrange for payroll adjustments to compensation and obtain answers to payroll questions.
+ Support with the Compensation Accumulation Process and processing adjustments as required.
+ Support with the vendor invoice review and posting process, including related queries from Payroll Accounting and vendor partners.
**Qualifications & Requirements:**
+ University/ bachelor's degree required (Accounting or Tax Degree)
+ Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and/or Payroll Accounting, preferably within a multinational company in a regional capacity, supporting multiple countries.
+ Previous experience in public accounting is preferred, with exposure to Global Mobility considered an advantage.
+ Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior management, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and organizational skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on clarity and precision.
+ An analytical approach to tax planning, with experience implementing tax strategies that align with business goals.
