The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide. **Scope of Position** The IT Network Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of network-related projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** + Manage and lead global network projects from initiation to closure. + Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. + Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are met. + Constantly monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion. + Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management clearly and concisely. + Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. + Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. + Financial report analysis, budgeting, statement analysis + Manage project financials – budget, actuals, forecasting. + Manage ordering and billing processes. **Experiences/Education - Required** + 4-year degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience + Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on IT network projects. + PMP or similar project management certification is preferred. + Bilingual (English/Spanish) + Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Proficiency in project management software and tools. + Understanding of network infrastructure is a plus. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Strong financial acumen + Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. **Travel Requirement** + Potential travel of up to 30%, which may include international destinations **Corning Puts YOU First!** We are committed to supporting your health, financial, career development, and life goals as you grow professionally and personally to achieve your highest potential.
