Your performance areas:

The Global Payment Per Part Manager position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of Sandvik’s global Payment Per Part sales and service model and for coordinating Payment Per Part activities, including process design, tool selection and product offering, cost-per-part calculations, vending, and related elements.

Key responsibilities include:

Implement payment-per-part methodology with selected customers to ensure effectiveness of processes and the business model, and implement the payment methodology internally within the global sales organization.Develop productive relationships with internal and external partners to improve resources and expertise.Recognize, anticipate, and resolve organization, operational, and process problems.Gather data and communicate financial impacts of business model implementation.Implement the principles of value-based pricing and negotiation, and cross selling services and engineered tooling parts and products.Drive and implement a strategic invoicing and sales model for end-customers of engineered tools and parts to achieve target revenues and market share gains.Research and integrate strategies from markets and relevant industries, including analysis and implementation of beneficial contract terms requiring payment-per-parts for engineered tooling parts and products.Design and create customer-centric presentation models with unique selling points to secure long-term contracts with end-users of engineering tools and parts.Validate and vet the implementation of a payment-per-part invoicing methodology and ensure results are in line with Company financial and commercial expectations.Oversee the activities to achieve the cost reductions targets and sales development by managing the resources and suppliers, as well as implementation of Sandvik’s specific payment process.Manage a global team of Pay Per Part specialists, working in close collaboration with front line sales, and assessing customer opportunities.

Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and five (5) years of experience as Business Development Services Supervisor, Global Service Owner-Logistics and/or Tool Management Manager.The five (5) years of experience must have included machining tool lifecycle management, including sale of machining tool products and services, inventory control, and distribution of tools for machining.Up to 30% domestic and international travel required. May telecommute.
