Purpose Statement: The PCBA Manufacturing Process Technology Staff Engineer will be a catalyst for technological transformation, driving innovation throughout the manufacturing process. This role demands a deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies and their application in PCBA assembly. By leveraging advanced automation, data analytics, and AI-powered tools, the engineer will optimize production for efficiency, quality, and scalability. They will be responsible for training and mentoring teams on emerging technologies, ensuring a smooth transition to new process technologies. 

Key Job Accountabilities:

Regarded as a "go to" technical specialist, leader and mentor within their Manufacturing discipline; and/or regarded as a cross-discipline leader and mentor for product / process development, process improvement or troubleshooting within site/ region, as it applies to their role.

Serves as a technical and/or project team lead providing technical guidance/ training, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on small to mid-size Plexus Manufacturing Processes, as it applies to their role.

Leads continuous improvement activities associated with their engineering discipline and/or project-level tools or processes, as it applies to their role.

Provides customer service leadership in project technical discussions, business continuity and new proposal creation.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or science is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is preferred.

Minimum Eight (8) years of related experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency required.
