Role description:
The Global People Operations & Systems Analyst is a key member of the Global People Operations team, and reporting to the Global People Ops & System Specialist works as part of a team to act as a link between stakeholders, leveraging functional knowledge of people processes and systems to support global and local people services delivery, and to assist project teams in delivery of assigned projects.
This role acts as a liaison and a bridge between Global People Operations, Tech, and local People Services teams. Arcadis has identified the following key focus areas:
Systems Support
• Partners with country people services teams to trouble shoot systems issues, raises and monitors incidents to resolution in partnership with Tech and local people services
• Provides central support for high volume data changes (i.e. manager updates, pay elements, absence balances etc)
• Provides central support for functional technology updates (i.e. creates and maintains Journeys, HCM group processing etc)
• Support Peakon Data Management & Administration
• Supports on opportunities for harmonization & centralization of system processes
• Supports on opportunities to improve Oracle guided learning and self-service system support options to enable employees to use self-service mechanisms effectively and with minimal need for intervention
Project Delivery
• Support for project deliverables, documentation, and progress updates.
• Provides follow up and support to project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project requirements.
• Inform functional requirements in partnership with project stakeholders to support the global processes for the function.
• Support completion of project deliverables
• Support system or process demonstration deep dives/discovery, functional design and validation
• Support development of appropriate communications and training materials.
Process Optimization
• Leverage functional knowledge and research best practice to inform design & documentation of harmonized business processes for the function with a view to creating consistent global ways of working, optimizing and automating workflows, in order to improve efficiencies and enhance end user experience.
• Support development of end user guidance and documentation to support the correct application of business processes and conducts process reviews and initiates changes in order to contribute to continuous improvement of the solution and end user experience
• Working on harmonization and transition work to GPSSC, ensuring all harmonized ways of working are adequately documented with clear work instructions.
General
• Role Model the Arcadis Way principles.
• Act as a visible steward of health and safety and ensuring familiarity and compliance with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.
• Working hours: This role will require the flexibility in working hours to lead and attend meetings with global stakeholders.
Role accountabilities:
• Support the overall People Function Strategy and roadmap through optimization of systems, projects & process
• Support definition, documentation & harmonization of global business processes.
• Ensure a seamless, suitable and digital employee experience across key moments that matter pertaining to the people services components of the employee lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience:
The candidate should have demonstrated experience with people systems, projects, and process and also high exposure to supporting people-based solutions that align to a business transformation across geographical entities. International experience would be an advantage.
Other required experience and competencies for this role:
• Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating the People Function value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business with digital & human centered solutions.
• Has experience within an international Consulting Firm (complex professional services or related business, and providing high quality business improvements
• Knowledge of HRIS systems and People Function policies and procedures. Preferably in Oracle.
• Demonstrable experience with project support.
• High level communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including senior executives; able to comfortably speak to business managers and establish a communication cadence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to combine attention to detail with big picture perspective.
• Have broad experience and knowledge across all major components of People related functions, talent acquisition, compensation, talent development.
• Stakeholder management and the maturity to deal with senior leaders.
