Global Physical Security & Executive Protection Head

The Global Physical Security & Executive Protection Head is responsible for leading, developing and implementing security protocols and procedures by providing strategic vision and direction in critical security aspects for the organization. Reporting into the Head of Global Corporate Services, this role leads a team of security professionals responsible for the safety of our associates. The Head of Global Security & Executive Protection will also oversee directly the physical security operations at the primary corporate office locations; and is responsible for the comprehensive plan and assessments designed to safeguard the safety of the company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from potential threats, including physical harm, harassment, or other dangers, taking preventive measures to mitigate risks due to the high-level position within the company.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Leads a team responsible for the Executive Protection of the CEO.Creates and implements security strategies that align with changing business priorities and market dynamics.Solves complex business issues and advises business leaders using innovative/creative solutions.Develops and enforces security procedures and regulations; identifies and recommends surveillance and related security equipment, fixtures, facilities, and systems.Oversees executive off-site events, and collaborates closely with our Global Security Operations Center and Threat Intelligence to craft detailed plans of protection for the CEO and Executives

Perform risk assessments, testing, evaluation of security systems and determine which executive or persons of interest are at higher risk and develop methods to keep them safe.Motivate employees with training to follow the policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure assets are protected and safety is top of mind.Oversee conference and event site inspection, plan development and tactical support. Effectively manage threat response analytics and execute action plans to resolve identified issues and mitigate life safety risk, reputational risk, and brand impact.Approve service contracts and hold vendors accountable for service level agreements. High ethics in handling confidential and sensitive information.Coordinate with Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team with Violence in the Workplace Prevention Program, Threat Assessment and Incident Response Team.Consult with Federal, State and local law enforcement and other governmental agencies. Establish a sound network of professionals and leaders in the industry.Acting as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs.Interfacing with external security guard agency for staffing of security positions.Facilitating on-the-job training for specifics of security guard monitoring and protection responsibilities.

Executive protection goes beyond just physical security and can include surveillance, threat assessments, travel security arrangements, event security planning, and cyber security measures to protect sensitive information.

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $153,800/yr. - $210,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
