Global PID BIM Lead

We're looking for a high-energy focused Global PID BIM Lead in Portland, OR who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art semiconductor and micro-electronics facilities. You will be responsible for developing a program to support the evolution of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) to data driven and intelligent formats. This includes the development of staff, workflows and training materials. You will work closely with Process, Mechanical, I&C and Piping disciplines to establish milestones and metrics. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful. As a Global PID BIM Lead, you will: * Lead development of workflows, tools, standards, and training materials that will support the development of PIDS that support information and data sharing between different disciplines and stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration. * Work closely with the Process Quality Manager to identify areas for improvement * Work closely with Digital Delivery (DAG) to become familiar with existing automation and extraction tools associated with AutoCAD PIDs * Work closely with the Piping Materials/BIM Manager to understand critical information associated with construction specifications and BIM piping content. * Ensure adoption of Global Discipline workflows and Electronics Practices Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together. * At least 15 years of experience in design of large-scale process or manufacturing sectors * Design and construction knowledge of major industrial facilities * Demonstrated leadership experience in P&ID preparation using a variety of different software * Strong understanding of project design and delivery * Strong organizational and communications skills * Ability to travel, as needed, to meet teams in their local offices or to project sites Ideally, you’ll also have: * Effective listening and communication skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proven experience in Smart Plant P&ID (SPPID), Aveva Diagram and/or AutoCAD #afelectronics #LI-MP1 Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
