Equifax is seeking a Technical Architect to significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions focused on our customers’ business needs. You are a problem solver who is highly motivated by designing solutions that amaze customers. As a Technical Architect at Equifax, you will design and plan technology solutions, alongside providing leadership and support to development teams. You excel at driving business value through technology and addressing technical issues and concerns.
To adhere to our corporate location policies, this resource will be required to be local to the surrounding Atlanta, GA . You are required to adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) / weekly onsite requirements (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

What you will do
Architect, design, and engineer complex software products.
Research and incubate new technologies and frameworks to be used within projects.
Ensure that team is aligned with the strategic objectives, requirements and platform enterprise architecture.
Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, peers and product engineers/architects on various related topics across other teams.
Identify architecture solutions to meet functional and non-functional needs of the project.
Experience in creating conceptual and logical models.
Be an active member of the architecture community and evangelize cutting edge technology and architectures (e.g. streaming).
What experience you need
BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required
5+ years of experience developing and/or administering software in the public cloud, including 10+ years overall relevant experience.
Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability ensure functional and performance objectives.
Experience in languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, Perl, JavaScript and/or node.js
Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases
Experience with multiple OSS frameworks and microservice implementation styles.
Experience with message driven application development (pub-sub, Kafka) and event driven microservice implementation
Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

Application Development/Programming - Experience working with software design, programming languages (preferably Python, Java, Javascript) , databases and networking. Knowledge of Event Driven Architecture, Functional/Object Oriented Programming
Cloud Services (AWS/GCP) - Leveraging cloud native GCP/AWS service while architecting a particular product/platform. Patterns and anti-patterns for Cloud Services
DevSecOps - Need to have a strong understanding of both security and DevOps principles. They need to be able to design and implement solutions that meet the security and compliance requirements of the organization. They also need to be able to work with developers and operations teams to ensure that the solutions are implemented in a way that does not impact the development or deployment process.
Technical Communication/Presentation - Influences business unit leadership by communicating how technology capabilities support business units outcomes. Articulates via written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to tailor to specific audiences. Influences the behavior of TA within the business unit to ensure that results are focused on business outcomes while cultivating and maintaining EFX values.
Technology Advising/Consulting - Bring new ideas and perspective to table to help improve design and implementation of Technology Architecture. Identify and mitigate potential risks before it impacts projects. Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, patterns, and best practices. Experience in developing designs and architecture documents that the rest of the SDLC teams can follow. Demonstrated authority within their field of expertise of highest scope and complexity. Senior leadership seek their advice when a highly technical issue arises. Experience in solving enterprise business problems in a unique solution that helps the business move forward in the accelerated/innovative direction. Stay up-to-date on latest technologies and trends via publications, news outlets, industry events, etc.
