As the Global Head, you will be responsible for leading and growing the consulting business in the Life Science and Medical Device sectors across the globe. You will drive strategic initiatives, build strong client relationships, and deliver significant growth and scale all the while building robust and diverse teams. This role will involve collaborating with other leaders across the organization to shape the business strategy of the Life Sciences and Medical Devices practice and drive transformation for our clients. Responsibilities: Business Growth and Strategy: Define and execute a sound business growth strategy for the Life Science and Medical Device consulting practice. Focus on expanding the consulting business contribution to the overall revenue and market positioning. Build and nurture C-level relationships and pursue new business opportunities with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Foster partnerships with key ecosystem players to build knowledge and networks. Practice Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team of consulting professionals across different regions. Set goals and objectives, provide guidance and support, and foster a culture of excellence. Develop and implement a competency-building strategy to enhance the capabilities of the team. Drive thought leadership by engaging with industry leaders, analysts, and influencers. Driving Transformation: Collaborate with clients to transform their business processes and solve complex challenges. Deliver customer value as a central theme across all activities and ensure client satisfaction. Identify and define differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within the Energy and Utilities sector. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to shape opportunities. Drive transformation and innovation by shaping engagements using core and disruptive technologies. Deliver customer value as a central theme across all activities and ensure client satisfaction. Thought Leadership: Leverage partnerships & alliances in opportunity pursuits. Drive and increase brand awareness across markets. Provide insights and POV through white papers; conference presentations, books/articles, and internal reusable assets, etc. Qualifications/Experience Required Minimum 15 years of industry experience, including leadership roles in management consulting or the Life Science and Medical Device industries. Strong domain knowledge and experience in the Life Science sectors with required depth and breadth across Life Sciences space – R&D, Clinical Development, Commercials, Compliance, SCM and their technology implications. Deep understanding of the market and external environment (STEPLE* - Social, Technological, Economic, Political, Legal & Environmental contexts). Proven track record of driving transformational and strategic consulting sales. Experience in consultative selling and creating value-based presentations. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to lead, motivate and grow diverse teams, manage change, and achieve results. Entrepreneurial drive with a passion for learning and shaping one's own career path. Highly adaptable in dynamic environments and ability to integrate into a global matrix organization. Master's qualification, preferably an MBA. Skills: Strategic thinking and ability to develop growth opportunities and initiatives.
