ABOUT THE JOB

 

Main responsibilities

 

The purpose of the Global Process Expert (GPE) role is to design effective and efficient core model processes, drive effective process & digital solution implementation, manage any deviations, and alignment within the other members of the team & relevant neighboring functions. He/she is the gatekeeper for his own domain, working closely together with the other Global Process Experts & Continuous Improvement Leads.

 

The GPE role for Controlling Data Core Model / Support Model covers all Group activities (43b€ sales scope) and report to the DS&A Global Process Lead within the Controlling Operations Global Process Owner team.

 

Core Model

Ownership for the design of the Data / Support Core Model process with high level of focus on Finance Data FoundationReview/Approve/Reject change requests and exceptions to the Controlling Core ModelEnsure processes levels 1-5 are fully documented and for levels 6-7 the process, business rules & detailed standard operations are documented where it is meaningful to do soEnsure Internal control and compliance are embedded within process designs

 

Global Projects & Initiatives

Deliver projects across all regions, notably technologies implementationOwn the business case for the relevant project incl. its implementation impact within Finance P&LSupport neighboring functions projects & other global initiatives impacting the Service Line

 

Stakeholders and Change Management

Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across all geographies and drive standardization of processesIdentify alignment needs and proactively manage relationship with neighboring functionsEnsure Core Model components are well understood to perform an effective implementationProvide process expertise to Service Delivery teams as required

 

ABOUT YOU

Experience

Working knowledge of Controlling Operations and SnowflakeLeading Lean/6 Sigma/Agile projectsProcess enablement with AI/Machine LearningExperience of working in a Global Business Services environment desirable

Soft skills

Strong change leader with ability to drive adoption of new technologies and ways of workingStrong delivery orientation and good project management skills including development of business cases, planning, execution, resolving critical issues, ensuring programs stay on track and measuring KPIsEffective collaboration skills with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization and ability to work across different geographies, languages, cultures, and business maturity levelsEffective at problem-solving and prioritizing capacity
