**WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH**
We’re seeking a Global Process Lead, Record-to-Report (R2R) to join our Global Process Owner (GPO) R2R team. You will report directly to the Senior Director, GPO for R2R and collaborate cross-functionally with Global Controlling FSLI owners, the Finance Transformation Management Office, Shared Service Delivery providers, other functional GPO and business teams, Finance, and Governance & Compliance (FG&C). Your work will support NIKE Global Controlling Corporate Accounting teams in defining and implementing globally standardized processes, driving process improvement efforts, and delivering Finance Transformation initiatives.
**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
As we advance our Finance function transformation, this role will play a key role in driving GPO initiatives in the Corporate Accounting space, focusing on end-to-end process optimization and executing the transformation roadmap. The ideal candidate excels in translating business requirements into actionable process changes, driving organizational adoption, compliance, and change management. A strong analytical mindset, collaborative approach, and expertise in process improvement are essential for delivering impactful results.
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
+ Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a large, complex organization, with a combination of Controlling and process improvement expertise.
+ Demonstrated expertise in identifying, designing, and implementing process improvement initiatives within a shared service delivery model, leveraging tools such as automation (e.g., RPA, AI) and outsourcing to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess process gaps, prioritize improvement opportunities, and drive alignment across multiple functions.
+ Experienced in managing relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
+ Knowledge of shared delivery governance frameworks, process standardization, and best practices in Record-to-Report (R2R) function
+ Project management experience, including developing and executing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Project Management Certification preferred.
+ Strong analytical skills, with experience in performance measurement, strategy alignment, and risk mitigation.
+ Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across teams.
+ A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and respond to evolving business needs.
**WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON**
+ Act as the Process Excellence expert, responsible for improving Record-to-Report processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
+ Evaluate current processes to identify improvement areas, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies. Gather and analyze data on process performance and create flowcharts and process maps to visualize and optimize processes.
+ Conduct regular process reviews to ensure compliance with global standards, identifying deviations and defining standardization opportunities.
+ Collaborate with functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, maintain the transformation roadmap, and enhance operational efficiencies.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to define and design optimal end-to-end processes, including policies, controls, reporting, and SOPs.
+ Support the implementation of process changes and operational improvements.
+ Facilitate global process adoption by maintaining process workflows and procedures, developing training materials, and creating transparent communication plans.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with business and functional partners to foster effective change management, ensuring high adoption rates and minimizing resistance to transformation efforts.
