**Job Description :** **Context/Scope:** **At Diageo, we are redefining how we deliver outcomes. The first step in this journey was launching Project Voyager, which comprises three elements.** **Setting up a Global Process Owner Model (GPO) to standardize, simplify and get to leading class in our key commercial processes.** **We are significantly upgrading our operating system by installing SAP 4HANA and Introducing new data management.** **The Global Process Lead is the key enabler for driving process, behaviour, and system operational excellence globally.** **The Global Process Lead (GPL) for Invoice to Cash will play a vital role in this transformation. They will be passionate about defining, crafting, and deploying standardised processes within Sell Product and owning the design-to-implementation accountability for our Strategic Global Commercial/Sell Product Transformation program.** **The suitable candidate will report to the overall Global Process Owner (GPL) for Order to Cash. They will have strategic and progressive thinking, ambitious leadership and decision-making, and stcollaboratorolder management, all grounded in solid commercial experience.** **Expertise** **This role requires invoice-to-cash or accounts receivable and credit control experience and experience working in different market archetypes. Ideal commercial expertise as follows:** **Customer Segmentation and Process Design: Developed market archetypes and customer risk segments and designed cash flow strategies to address specific archetypes and segments in alignment with company objectives.** **Customer Relationship Management: Built and maintained strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Collaborated with sales teams to understand customer needs and provided solutions that drove customer satisfaction and loyalty.** **Accounts Receivable and Credit Control: Designed, implemented and operated AR and Credit Control processes, including experience in AR Risk Analytics and Implementation of Credit and Collections Strategies. E-Invoicing: Knowledge and experience implementing e-Invoicing processes, systems, and controls across a global landscape spanning the Americas, EMEA and APAC.** **Trade Promotions Management (TPM): Collaborated with Contracts and TPM teams to optimize Collections and Deductions processes, minimize costs, and assure & improve performance levels.** **Financial Management: Oversaw budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis for commercial investments. Drove cost optimization initiatives and ensured effective resource allocation to increase ROI.** **Team Leadership and Development: Coached and developed team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.** **Cross-Functional Teamwork: Worked closely with other functional leaders, including marketing, finance, and operations, to align commercial strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.** **Compliance and Risk Management: Ensured compliance with relevant regulations and company policies and identified and mitigated commercial risks to protect the business and its collaborators.** **Experience** **Functional Expertise – Commercial** **Deep Understanding of commercial processes** **10+ years of commercial experience (Accounts Receivable, Collections, Deductions Management, Key Account Management, and Customer Service), ideally in an FMCG environment combined with SAP, S/4 and O2I SaaS Products.** **Inspire through Purpose/ Shape the Future** **Ability to inspire teams through sophisticated influencing skills and senior collaborator management** **Demonstrated ability to collaborate efficiently and foster positive relationships with cross-functional/ cultural/ regional teams within a fast-moving, sophisticated environment** **Be externally curious to anticipate trends and adapt quickly** **Win through Execution** **Ability to deep dive into specific topics as well as think on the strategic level** **Proven change management and project management skills** **Process improvement and standardization experience is crucial** **Ability to design, document new processes and define effective roll-out and embedment/ adoption while acting decisively** **Role Complexity / Responsibilities** **This role has four primary responsibilities:** **Being the Global Process Lead for end-to-end Invoice-to-Cash processes, systems, policies and controls across processes, including Credit Risk Control and Management, Invoice generation and distribution, AR Collections, Disputes and Deductions Management, Cash Applications, AR Administration, Customer Service and Query Management.** **High-level and detailed definition of customer, market, and route-to-market archetypes to ensure end-to-end process alignment and performance standardization for the nuances of the markets and customers.** **Driving Process Improvement, Standardization, and Automation within the Sell Product (Commercial) function. Leading and collaborating with cross-functional and multi-geography teams to develop, maintain, and manage changes to process definitions, controls, policy, and other process assets.** **Order-to-Invoice** **Global Process Lead: This role owns the e2e process of converting strategy into action with our brands, channels, and customers to create joint value and grow the category. It is responsible for ensuring that there is a well-defined global process for commercial planning, including all underlying processes, data points, KPIs, controls, and capabilities.** **Process Improvement** **: This role is responsible for improving, standardizing, improving process performance, and digitally redefining Order-to-Invoice processes within the Sell Product (Commercial) process Taxonomy, including Order Intake, Order Entry, Order Allocation and Fulfillment, Customer Service, Invoice generation, and Invoice Distribution processes.** **This role partners with collaborators, including GPOs, in-market commercial, other Sell Product GPLs, and operational teams to drive actual Sell Product (Commercial) global process, process improvements, and governance.** **This role will require an understanding of Diageo's commercial processes, systems and tools, and financial data across all markets and functions.
