Join us and we can make a difference together. **About This Role** The COE Process and Lab Optimization Leader is a key strategic position responsible for coordinating and facilitating operating model transformation and improvements across all three Engineering & Technology Centers of Excellence: Mechanical, Electrical, and Software & Controls. This leader will need to effectively work with Global Engineering Leaders to build, implement, and monitor best-in-class team processes and practices, and efficient use of global laboratory resources and investments. This dynamic role will be responsible to both lead Transformation and Continuous Improvement while also ensuring execution of current commitments. **Key Responsibilities:** + Own the Center of Excellence operating model including development and improvement of related processes and standard work. + Coordinate across all 3 Engineering & Technology Centers of Excellence to maintain alignment and teamwork across broader team. + Build, document, and roll out consistent process execution across the COEs to drive best-in-class V-Model operations and successful partnerships with Business Units. + Lead monthly COE connection meetings and Quarterly Workshops to ensure team alignment and progress is driven on major Transformational items. + Oversee execution of major COE Transformational objectives. + Work across Engineering & Technology teams to define and execute Alignment & Governance for NPD, Technology Development and Sustaining and Support activities. + Partner with Collaboration Leaders to maintain successful connection across COE’s and with the businesses. + Support the improvement and re-launch of the Discipline Health Assessment process to ensure robust maintenance of key disciplines to support Carrier’s most critical technical programs. + Support development of the Engineering Playbook to include operation of COE’s enabling clear and consistent understanding across global teams on operating expectations. + Drive implementation and adoption of the Job Ticket tool to ensure upfront alignment on resources required for requests from the businesses to COEs. + Support improvement of consistent requirements management practices across the COEs to support best-in-class V-Cycle NPD. + Identify top productivity opportunities across global labs and drive implementation. + Identify best practices in global labs and scale those practices for global benefit. + Create visibility for Global Lab and Engineering & Technology leadership of current state lab capabilities. + Foster a collaborative environment across global lab leaders which promotes learning, development, and engagement. + Develop and implement global KPIs and hub lab scorecards to elevate visibility of lab performance, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement. + Identify top capital investments for lab infrastructure/supplies for current and future technology needs and support building business case for top needs. + Drive Carrier Excellence implementation and maturity across the COEs. + Oversee the long range and annual operating plan process in coordination with finance and COE leaders. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience in Product Development/Program Management/Process Management/Quality/Operating Systems OR Master's Degree and 8+ years of experience in Product Development/Program Management/Process Management **Preferred Qualifications:** + MBA + Experience with Six Sigma or equivalent, PMP certification, process and tools + Successfully lead a large portfolio of projects (including multi-generational programs) + Experience in executing passport /stage gate based development process + Experience with HVAC-R Industry + Demonstrated ability to strategize, lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives + Strong analytical and strategic planning skills to develop and execute effective business strategies + Proven track record of optimizing operational processes and driving efficiency improvements + Extensive experience in program and project management, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and information to diverse stakeholders + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization + Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, business needs, and market dynamics in a fast-paced environment + Creative problem-solving skills to address challenges and overcome obstacles encountered during project execution **RSRCAR** **Pay Range:** $133,319 - $232,919 Annually **_Carrier is An Equal_** **_Opportunity/Affirmative_** **_Action Employer.
