What the day will look like The global business process management (BPM) team has responsibility for identifying, analyzing, designing, and optimizing processes across Aon. Business Process Management is part of Shared Operations and partners with collaborators across solutions and geographies. Focused on efficiency and effectiveness, the BPM team’s goal is to transform process delivering improved client and colleague experience whilst lowering cost. The person in this role will play a senior-level role focused on leading and optimizing specific business processes for commercial risk (Pre-bind) setting global standards of excellence. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the processes under their ownership are efficient, effective, and aligned with the overall organizational goals and strategies. Key Responsibilities include: Process Ownership: Own and have accountabilities for all processes Pre-bind for Commercial Risk leading the global process harmonization starting with North America. Process Design and Improvement: Design and implement standardized, best-in-class processes that promote operational excellence and drive continuous improvement. Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or optimization. Strategy Alignment: Align process objectives with CR and ABS strategy inc 3x3 programs. Collaborate with key stakeholders, in broking and AE community including Broker Copilot Governance and Compliance: Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor process compliance and identify areas of non-compliance, taking necessary actions to address risks and ensure process integrity. Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (key performance indicators) and metrics to measure process performance and effectiveness. Collaborate and connect with various teams across the organization to gain insight into their process requirements and receive valuable feedback. Change Management: Lead change initiatives, drive process adoption, manage expectations, and communicate process changes or updates. Develop change plans, including comms, training, and engagement strategies, to ensure smooth adoption. Continuous Improvement: Lead with continuous improvement mentality promoting use of Lean Six Sigma and/or other process optimization methodologies. Encourage innovation and explore new technologies or approaches to enhance process efficiency. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other GPOs and the process excellence team to share standard methodologies, leverage relationships, and foster a unified approach to process management. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role. Skills and Experience that will lead to success. 10 years of proven experience with a minimum of 5 years within Risk broking. Extraordinary knowledge of Broking, Risk Finance, and the global insurance market as it pertains to North America. End to end Commercial Risk knowledge. Extensive experience in process management, improvement, and/or reengineering. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend effective solutions. Proficient understanding of process design methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, BPMN etc. Demonstrated knowledge of driving improvement in execution initiatives and achieving results. Strong project and change management skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams, influence while working with partners at all levels of the organization. Bachelor's or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, risk management, operations management, Information Technology). Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150,000 - $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
