The Global Process Owner for Payroll focusing on in-sourced Workday payroll and Rest of World vendors will drive payroll transformation at GSK by harmonising processes, standardising control execution, and ensuring consistent KPI reporting for countries using these systems. The role aims to maximise value as countries transition into Business As Usual (BAU). Global Process Owner for Payroll (Workday) Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee payroll processes for countries using in-sourced Workday payroll and Rest of World vendors. Standardise and streamline payroll processes across these systems to ensure efficient and accurate payroll execution. Implement and maintain consistent control execution and KPI reporting, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to identify and implement process improvements. Utilise Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement in payroll processes. Ensure compliance with global GSK initiatives like the SAP S/4 upgrade, and standards like Sarbanes Oxley. Provide expert advice and guidance on payroll best practices and vendor management. Provide support to payroll teams to ensure understanding and adherence to standard processes. Foster a culture of learning and development within the payroll function. Ensure adherence & compliance with global GSK initiatives Why You? Necessary Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in payroll management, including working with in-sourced payroll systems (Workday preferred) and external vendors. Strong knowledge of global payroll processes and regulations. Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively. Proficiency in payroll software and systems. Preferred Qualifications (nice to have but not a must): Certification in payroll management or relevant discipline. Experience with payroll transformations in large multinational corporations. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Why GSK?
