Global Procurement Manager – Direct Spend

We are currently recruiting a Global Corporate Procurement Direct Manager.

 

This is a key role within Amplifon organization and especially within Procurement & Supply Chain global community. Leadership, ability to drive initiatives and make things happen on a global scale as well as at a country level are essential to be able to succeed together with international standing and ability to create consensus around proposals and decisions. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Actively lead and/or participate as a key player  in designing and executing Core Suppliers strategy for Direct Procurement (Hearing Aids – HA – manufacturers) for the entire Group.

 

Full HA COGS monitoring and control  Identify COGS areas of optimization by new analytical approaches and benchmarks, set up and drive initiatives to make it happen Guide contract implementation and execution Create consensus and drive alignment between Global Supplier Strategy and individual market needs Guarantee and drive adherence of each market to supplier strategy indications Point of contact for internal stakeholders’ and countries’ needs with a business partner attitude Supplier relationship management including Supplier Business Reviews, Supplier Scorecards and Suppliers Improvement plans. Design and execute Supplier strategy for non-core categories Lead global cross-function initiatives, both as a stream leader or as program leader Promote and drive the change (be a “Change Agent”) by active participation in the relevant initiatives of current Transformation Master Plan

 

Main Sourcing Categories managed: Hearing Aids, Hearing Aids accessories, Hearing Aids spare parts.

 Main KPIs: Supplier SoW, cost saving, supplier quality (products & services), payment terms, contract coverage, process adoption & compliance

 

SCOPE AND SCALE           

Reporting: solid line to the Global Direct Procurement Sr. Director

 MAIN TASKS

Guarantee regular reporting on HA Suppliers performances Supplier SoW monitoring and governance aligned to Global Strategy Perform standard and “ad hoc” analytics on HA Supplier performances in order to identify potential areas of improvements (values, quality or service) Prepare and execute strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives for HA, partnering with Sr. Director and CPSCO Negotiate with HA suppliers Negotiate with non-core suppliers (i.e. cleaning materials) Support HA portfolio rationalization and optimal utilization cooperating with Supply Chain and Product Development Manage key suppliers through best in class Supplier Relationship Management practices such as contract management, scorecards, business reviews and other tools & processes required to ensure the company’s best interests are served Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, cross-functional colleagues and suppliers Regarding actual or potential Issues Troubleshooting, propose or drive solutions in alignment with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Oversee internal processes flow and provide inputs for continuous improvement in terms of efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness. Lead the improvement initiatives in Quality, Reporting, Cost Reduction, Procedures, Supplier Audits, etc.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Finance & Economics or business related field required 10+ years of experience in Procurement required Supplier relationship management experience required Experience in negotiating and finalizing business terms and conditions for supplier contracts required

 

GENERAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS 

Project and Program Management Strategic and Fact-based negotiation approach Risk management Suppliers relationship management Business & Data analytics oriented to Decision Making; English (fluent both written and spoken)
