JOB PURPOSE:

The Product Information (PI) associate is responsible for managing the end-to-end product information gathering and maintenance process from vendors across all regions, supporting both the US and WSGO teams to maintain PI accuracy and consistency.  The PI associate will also be working closely with their manager and cross-functional partners to standardize and streamline existing processes for optimal efficiency. This role focuses on operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in large-scale data processing, tracking, and maintenance; excellent communications and coordination skills, and a proven ability to manage complex workflows that require collaboration with internal and external partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Work with vendors, WSGO, and US teams to standardize PI template formats across all brands while ensuring specific needs of each product category are maintained.  Ensure consistency in product data gathering, submission, and tracking. Review existing systems to establish efficient data sharing and extraction methods, simplifying data input and reducing redundancy in key process areas. Improve and refine existing workflows related to product information management to ensure data are accessible, accurate, and up to date across all systems. Streamline existing SOPs and processes to improve overall efficiency and data quality. Act as the primary point of contact for the US PI team, WSGO teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and effective communication in support of new product launches, regular maintenance, and a seamless online experience for WSI customers. Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, guidelines, and system updates to ensure consistency and transparency. Establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, peers, and managers within the organization. JOB HOLDER’S COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, merchandising, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandise operations, project management, data management, or a related field. Proven track record in process improvement, operational optimization, and implementing best practices. Experience working in cross-functional environments and collaborating with teams such as sourcing, finance, IT, and supply chain. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and process improvements. Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused, with a strong commitment to operational excellence.  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a team with other associates, supervisors, and managers. Effective communication (verbal and written) and the ability to foster open communications. Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, independent decision-making skills, and effective problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of computers, Internet, and Microsoft Office applications.
