Global Product Management, Director for Systems & Assays
Job Description

We are seeking a strong leader for our Global Product Management team responsible to grow and mature our Systems and Assays portfolio within the tissue based Dx market. The team is part of our Global Product Marketing team in the Pathology Division.  

The Pathology Division has a rich legacy in developing pathology solutions for tissue based cancer diagnostics. Our portfolio consists of superior workflow solutions of highly competitive automated systems, software and assays developed and maintained for operating globally in the regulated in vitro diagnostic (IVD) market.

We lead with a customer-first approach to understanding current and future needs of our customers and provide competitive solutions that meet or even exceed them. The team you are leading is responsible to improve sales, market share & profitability of our existing portfolio.

You will engage in global and multi-disciplinary forums with partners from Sales, Field Marketing, RA/QA, Manufacturing and R&D. Commercialization planning and execution is happening in close collaboration with our Commercial Marketing team.

Your “hands-on” leadership style, analytical approach, and global alignment with collaborators within and outside the Pathology Division are fundamental for success in the role.

The team responsibilities include:

Identify and quantify opportunities to improve sales, market share & profitabilityInfluence business strategic direction and portfolio tactical decisionsOngoing life cycle management aligned with the value proposition of our SolutionsLead supply critical issues & back ordersEvaluate customer feedback and react accordinglyEnsure high quality product knowledge transfer to commercial and support teams

Your responsibilities include:

Leading and developing the Product Management team and team membersAdvancing key proficiencies related to Product ManagementStructured and visible customer and business centric prioritizationBuilding and maintaining alliances with Agilent counterparts across teams and locationsLeading high visibility, high impact change initiatives  Working according to the financial framework

Qualifications

We expect you have

Background Business, Marketing, Science or Engineering with understanding of the diagnostic industryExperience with product marketingLeadership experience and you are natural leader with a strong curiosity about people managementHigh desire and capability to build your network across the organizationYou have strong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in written and spoken English

You are expected to be based in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will report directly to Head of Global Marketing of the Pathology Division and are a member of the Global Marketing Management team.
