Job Summary
The Global Product Manager is responsible for managing an orthodontic portfolio by driving assortment decisions, product lifecycle planning, and cross-functional leadership for assigned categories. This role collaborates closely with global teams and cross-functional partners to create, develop, and execute comprehensive marketing initiatives.
The Manager plays a pivotal role in leading product development and marketing efforts, including the development, planning, and execution of strategies to support market expansion and successfully launch new products globally. The role encompasses global brand management, aligning product positioning, messaging, and commercialization plans. It requires expertise in financial planning, market research, and pricing strategy to support both organic growth and strategic partnerships. A focus on innovation, collaboration, and compliance ensures successful product launches and continuous portfolio improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesNew Product Development:
Collaborate with R&D, Software Development, KOLs, VOC teams, commercial organizations, and clinical resources to identify, research, justify, and launch new products. Develop robust business cases with financial analysis to support new product recommendations. Provide cross-functional leadership to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven execution of new product development initiatives.
Portfolio Strategy and Planning:
Create and implement comprehensive portfolio marketing plans, including product lifecycle management. Conduct regional industry and category assessments, opportunity gap analyses, and portfolio management across platforms to align with strategic goals.
Brand Management and Positioning:
Define and develop global brand positioning and pricing strategies, ensuring strong product and brand equity. Analyze competitive landscape, including product, pricing, and customer segments, to drive differentiation.
Global Launch and Commercialization:
Develop and lead launch strategies and asset development, collaborating with clinical, training, and commercial teams for flawless execution. Oversee global product commercialization performance through analytics, KPIs, and post-launch evaluations.
Marketing Content Development:
Write creative briefs for internal teams and external agencies. Partner with agencies to develop product content, campaigns, and launch plans. Design and execute marketing programs to support global initiatives, including creating educational materials, communication tools, and product demos.
Market Research and Insights:
Conduct market research to analyze trends and gather actionable insights for pipeline development and tactical execution. Act as the voice of the customer to influence strategies and product development.
Pricing and Claims Management:
Establish and communicate global pricing strategies. Monitor pricing performance and authorize local deviations where necessary. Develop claims aligned with product features, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Growth Opportunities and Partnerships:
Evaluate organic growth opportunities and identify potential acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing opportunities. Contribute to business case development and participate in due diligence for external opportunities.
Communication and Collaboration:
Act as a brand ambassador, fostering collaboration across cross-functional and regional teams. Present strategies and product updates to sales organizations, customers, and stakeholders effectively.
Training and Compliance:
Complete required training to comply with quality, safety, and manufacturing SOPs.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in medical devices, CPG, or pharmaceutical industries. Proven expertise in product lifecycle management, marketing strategy, and global commercialization. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across global teams. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Willingness to travel globally (~25%).
