The Lubrizol Corporation has an opportunity for a Global Product Manager to support our Medical Solutions business. As a Global Product Manager, you will be responsible for the profitability and growth of our Medical Solutions global product line, focused on Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU). This role involves developing and executing product line strategies in collaboration with various business functions to ensure sustained growth and financial performance. 

 

What You Will Do:

Develop Strategies: Formulate and implement global product line strategies aligned with business unit, market, and technology goals. Manage Product Portfolio: Oversee the product lifecycle to maximize financial performance and streamline product complexity. Champion Communication: Lead proactive communication and continuous improvement initiatives within the change management process. Align Projects: Ensure product line projects and innovation efforts support the overall commercial strategy. Position & Price: Define product line positioning and pricing strategies for new product launches, ongoing business, and global bids. Engage Commercial Teams: Assist in developing the annual budget for the product line and drive global capacity planning. Improve Performance: Identify and enhance underperforming product lines. Competitive Intelligence: Collaborate with marketing on competitive intelligence and implement counter strategies to maintain market leadership. Operational Alignment: Coordinate with operations and supply chain to prioritize service capabilities while minimizing costs and obsolescence risks. Expand Partnerships: Implement and grow products and technology through strategic external partnerships.

 

What You Need:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in operations, product management, technical roles, or procurement. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems and data, then develop and execute effective action plans. Strategy Development: Proven experience in global strategy development and execution. Financial & Analytical Skills: Strong financial acumen and quantitative analysis capabilities. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. Technical Proficiency: Experience with enterprise data management tools. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Travel: Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 20%.
