Your role and responsibilities

As Global Product Manager Machine Vision you will be shaping the strategic direction and be responsible for the long-term growth of our Machine Vision portfolio throughout the entire life-cycle. You will be mainly accountable for:• Steering product requirements and investment prioritization based on market needs and opportunities.• Creating compelling narratives for target markets and personas and deriving a consistent positioning of our capabilities. • Making sure we have a competitive storyline and identifying opportunities for impactful product launches.• Engaging with customers and internal users to validate and sharpen our direction. • Working with partners, suppliers and industrial consortias to enable a solid eco-system.• Manage the product along its life-cycle.• You are at the intersection of our R&D, Sales and Marketing and your colleagues in product management to push for innovation and assure our continuous leadership role for our overarching solution offering.

Qualifications for the role

Solid technical background and market experience in Machine Vision systems, preferably within the Industrial Automation space. Strategic and analytical thinking, determination and persistence. Ability to work across all company departments with a focus on Sales, Marketing and R&D units.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Fluent in English, German would be an additional asset.Flexibility to travel up to 25%.
