Your role and responsibilitiesAs Global Product Manager for Subtransmission Products you will be responsible for supporting the business results by overseeing each step involved in the offering lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.Location: Ratingen; Germany, Dalmine; Italy, Helsinki; FinlandYou will be mainly accountable for: • Understand current and future market requirements and customer benefits for High- Voltage Grid Components.• Lead the market intelligence analysis. Understand and define the current market segmentation and related product positioning. Identify potential gaps in the portfolio (vs. competition, for new market opportunities and trends).• Own the technical and market specification for the product line and determine a product line strategy that supports the highest customer-benefits/-satisfaction and sustainable growth.• Lead the life cycle management process, analyze current products, define, and track performance metrics, and plan appropriate measures to ensure attractive products/solution offerings.• Act as partner and interface between external market and internal functions, e.g. Sales, Operations, and Research & Development. • Define new product plans and business models. Contribute to the development of new products/solutions by leading customer needs and value analysis, planning, and contributing to a product roadmap creating maximum value.• Prioritize new product development projects with commitment for the achievement of targets and coordinate and motivate the cross-functional teams accordingly.• Initiate and support product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation. • Manage different channel-to-market scenarios in coordination with channel partners and Marketing & Sales to ensure the best market coverage.• Define product customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensures clear communication to channels and users, to deliver clear product benefits and positioning.
Qualifications for the roleMaster Engineering Degree in Electrical with minimum of 3 years of experience in the sub-transmission electrification business.Experience in or knowledge of global electrical networks (standards, products, applications, utilities) is a plus.Analytical capabilities with futuristic thinking and good acumen “how to make it happen”.Customers, quality, application driven attitudeCollaborative, purposeful approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills.Advanced English is required.
