Global Product Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will work in a brand-new Agile Organization in Smart Power Division under Electrification Business Area, you will be responsible to start-up and develop a new product range in the field of Switchgear, specifically for its long-term profitable growth, by developing and managing the product range through all of its life cycle phases, according to market needs and Product Group strategy. This position will join Distribution & Energy Management Agile Unit and will report to Global Product Management Enclosures Chapter Leader. In a global and highly dynamic environment oriented to constant innovation, strong leadership and market driven thinking are prerequisite for this role, as well as critical thinking, motivation to challenge yourself and to be one step ahead in the digital transformation.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridYou will be mainly accountable for:• Understands and defines market segmentation and related product positioning, identifying both potential gaps against competition and new market opportunity.• Analyzes market trends, identifies customer needs, sets market requirements for future development.• Manages existing product series and boosts market penetration according to the Global Product Group ambition.• Defines product customer value proposition per segment and channel; sets and monitor the communication strategy to deliver clear product positioning.• Drives the annual business planning process and facilitates agreement between sales demand and supply.• Monitors global sales target fulfilment and takes actions as appropriate; defines future products and services.• Works closely with market developers and sales team to sustain business growth for the product range.• Collaborates with extended internal teams (i.e., GPGs, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, Logistics, ecosystem tools) to ensure customer satisfaction and business target.You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

You are passionate about problem solving and team working. You possess strong and well-developed communication skills. You have attention to customers and stakeholders, strong motivation and curiosity are essential personal qualities. Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred; Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent work experience also accepted. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English.
