Global Program Leader
Job Description SummaryAn opportunity to become an integral part of the PDx Team as Program Leader. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams of experienced functional leaders and their respective project teams. The scope includes programs at the clinical development stage and life-cycle management projects, such as competitive defense, re-launch, geographic and label expansion or product improvements for our marketed product portfolio. Two of our current neurology programs that could be in scope for this role are amongst the highest priority, so this is a position with high visibility.

Close collaboration across functions and alignment of resources will be essential for the success of the programs. You will lead the team to deliver program objectives for the business, drive clarity by defining/prioritizing the deliverables and define critical success factors to achieve agreed business objectives. This position works with the Business and Core Teams to manage project risks, deliver quality and impactful business results within budget.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities

Project management of key life-cycle activities for existing products, such as label or geographic expansions, commercial & marketing initiatives, digital projects, and implementation of any other generic defense strategies.

Project leadership of clinical development. This includes working cross functionally with SMEs to establish overall project plans and ensuring delivery against those plans, problem solving and managing any risks that arise during the development.

You will work hand-in-hand with Global Product Leaders to develop segment strategy, input into business cases, budgets, timelines, set overall program direction and other ad-hoc requests.

You will be required to create and run efficient operating mechanisms that keep the project teams informed and aligned, ensure effective and efficient communication across business functions, and motivate and energize the team through leadership. Teams are cross functional and multi-national and include functions such as Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Pre-clinical and Clinical development, Imaging Technology, Market Access, Finance, CMC and Manufacturing

With the right energy, enthusiasm and stewardship you will need to enable the program teams to adopt a Lean and Growth mindset, i.e. measuring delivery against timelines and budget, tackling and solving problems, driving to understand root causes and establishing mitigation plans, and operating the programs through standard work

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience such as program management, project leadership or similar, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

Demonstrated ability to deliver on project objectives, timelines and resources

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in a matrix organization

Demonstrated knowledge of business planning processes and ability to build project plans and business cases

Experience with

clinical development programs

product lifecycle from concept through end of life

product launches in the healthcare industry

Pharmaceuticals and scientific experience is preferred, including familiarity with the pharmaceutical environment (GMP, regulatory standards, compliance)

Strong Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Smartsheet skills
