Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking a Global Project Manager. This is a remote for within the United States.
What you’ll do:The primary function of a Global Project Manager is to create value and establish the project order management process as a key differentiator from our competitors. This position is heavily involved in the electrical and mechanical details of major strategic project order and focuses on Data Center Projects. Additionally, the role requires a deep understanding of global customer dynamics and the ability to manage technical aspects of major electrical assembly project orders with a global customer base by meeting customer specifications and timelines for products, documentation, and quality. The role involves working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality Customer obsessed results. Utilize the Project Management team resources assigned to their project ordersAssess and apply in depth knowledge of sales planning services to internal clients in one or more specialty areas, requiring technical applicationUpgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and customer trendsEnsure compliance with applicable processes and procedures to achieve business goalsProactively use competitive information to leverage advantages of Eaton CorporationNegotiate internally for resources and priorities needed for customersImprove financial position for Eaton and the customer.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum 5 years’ of electrical industry experience or similar industry Possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s licensePossess a valid and unrestricted passport with ability to obtain VISA’s and international travel documents as neededSponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without requiring company sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications

Ability to apply project management methodologies and strategies to reduce potential project risk throughout the duration of the project lifecycleCapable of planning and executing presentations on specific products and services to internal and external customers in order to gain recognition and customer acceptanceKnowledge of major competitors in the market and their alignment with distributors and major customersKnowledge on plant front-end scheduling, engineering, and manufacturing process and equipment cycle timesPoses advanced computer skills in Advanced word processing, Spreadsheet, Vista, and BidmanagerAbility to present information to others in a persuasive wayAbility to handle multiple tasks, projects, competing priorities and tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $96000.03 - $140800.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
