Role Summary:

The Project Manager will plan, direct, and ensure the successful outcome of projects utilizing the assigned project teams, as well as standards, practices, and toolsets established within Flowserve. You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project activity is regularly reported to the client and performed as per agreed technical specifications and project terms and conditions.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate ownership and accountability for total project execution, performance, and safety from initiation to completion.

Drive improved customer relationships by ensuring a positive work environment and meeting/exceeding customer expectations.

Ensure a "clean order" before starting work and manage scope changes through the change management system.

Coordinate activities of all matrix reports for each project.

Manage project spending expectations.

Communicate project milestones, status updates, and potential customer escalation issues while following proper escalation processes.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

BS or BA degree in a relevant field with 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Experience in program/project management.

Experience with rotating equipment..

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Proven experience in risk and change management.

Preferred Skills:

Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills, including meeting and workshop facilitation.

Strong team-building, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong estimating, scheduling, and budgeting skills.

Greenbelt, Blackbelt, or Lean training experience preferred.

Adaptability, flexibility, and proactivity.
