As a Vice President on the Frequent Borrower Trading desk, you will play a key role in making markets and managing risk in illiquid products. You will work closely with Sales to meet client needs and drive business growth.

The Frequent Borrower Trading desk provides liquidity to clients in Supranational, Sovereign, Regional, Agency, and Covered bonds across USD, Euros, and GBP. The role is based in Frankfurt.

Job Responsibilities

Make markets and manage risk in Supranational, Sovereign, Regional, Agency, and Covered bonds. Collaborate with Sales to understand and meet client needs. Analyze market trends and provide insights to support trading decisions. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management standards. Contribute to the development and implementation of trading strategies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Relevant prior experience in a securities trading role. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent. Strong analytical skills and ability to react quickly to changing market environments. Strong approach to control environment and risk management. Proficiency in MS Excel. Ability to work effectively within a team.
