We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Director to work as part of the wider business analysis project team with a focus around back middle office business change, risk, and regulatory initiatives.
This is a Global Team and the Mumbai team will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the day-to-day running of the Firm Internal and External reconciliation function within Global Reconciliation Utility as well as oversight of our 3rd party vendor, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), located in Chennai Nagpur. In addition, the team is responsible for assisting with escalation of issues to appropriate contacts and maintaining control.

What you’ll do in the role:
• Defining the business case for proposed initiatives and supporting with clear documentation
• Develop detailed project plans and manage changes in scope, schedule in conjunction with technology partners
• Partner with Change the Bank, Technology, and other stakeholders to deliver on key aspects of supported projects
• Perform User acceptance testing, ensure testing documentation is kept current and complied with.
• Actively seek out opportunities to improve the teams processes and control framework, effective stakeholder management.
• Attend or host meetings as necessary in the agile framework i.e. daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog review and retrospective sessions
• Review changes suggested by TCS related to process, documentation, etc. and approve by following the proper change management process.
• Ensure upward and peer communication of developments and issues, escalate blockers.
• Must ensure delivery of project deliverables as per set deadlines or manage expectations accordingly.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Powertools PowerBi, Alteryx and strong Excel / Powerpoint skills a must
• Ability to work well under pressure, lending control and order to a difficult or pressurised situation
• Ability to absorb information and learns quickly, Innovation and creative skills, challenges the existing processes and status quo.
• Previous exposure to Agile and Design Thinking would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Fixed Income, Equity Commodities Products
• Knowledge of Firm Trading, Operations and Finance Systems
