Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Role Definition** We have an exciting opportunity for a supply chain professional to join our global team in the role of Global S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) Manager. Our business is growing rapidly, and we require oversight of all planning areas of our business. This role will be front and center of the Large Electric Power solutions business. This role will be responsible for managing the Global S&OP process in Large Electric Power Solutions focused on containerized solutions products. This role requires the person to work across multiple manufacturing facilities and functional areas. Electric Power division is committed to providing sustainable and reliable Power solutions to our customers. The S&OP process manager will work to integrate demand, supply, and financial planning into a forward-thinking plan based on input from the organization’s key functional areas, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, and finance. S&OP links strategic plans to operational plans and strives to develop the most beneficial production plan along with strategic planning for time periods outside of the execution window. **Responsibilities** + Coordinating demand planning, network optimization, and capacity planning across different departments and regions + Analyzing the quality and accuracy of forecasts and taking corrective actions if needed + Analyzing and solving business problems with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities. + Developing and utilizing statistical modeling to drive decision-making. + Liaising with operational management teams on all matters related to resource planning. + Producing effective resource scheduling to maximize performance and meet KPIs/SLA. + Ownership of cadence and processes that run on a strict schedule, the outcome of the process will be communicated to senior leaders within Large Electric Power. **Degree Requirement** Degree or equivalent experience desired **Skill Descriptors** **Products and Services:** Working Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; + Obtains information about product and service linkages with other products and services elsewhere in organization. + Researches the target market and how the product and services are sold and delivered. + Explains current status, delivery alternatives and announced updates to products and services. **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Extensive Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. + Evaluates and makes contributions to best practices. + Processes large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy. + Demonstrates expertise in quality assurance tools, techniques, and standards. + Employs techniques for motivating employees to meet or exceed accuracy goals. **Analytical Thinking:** Extensive Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; + Seeks discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information; explains variances. + Quantifies the costs, benefits, risks and chances for success before recommending a course of action. + Chooses among a diverse set of analytical tools according to the nature of the situation. **Collaborating and Forecasting:** Working Knowledge of collaborative techniques; + Helps promote collaboration across generations, functions, regions, and levels. + Helps solve business problems and meet business goals through collaborative processes. + Participates in preparation of short-term forecasts for a specific product or site. + Locates useful information and sources of input used in weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts. **Operational Requirements Analysis:** Working Knowledge of the methods and processes needed to determine and provide resources needed to achieve business results + Identifies resources required to accomplish team objectives. + Develops plans for tracking quantitative measures of group performance against critical requirements. + Advocates when appropriate for requirements that fall outside normal bounds. **Capacity Planning & Management:** Extensive Knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand + Compares actual and optimal measurements and monitors them on an ongoing basis. + Oversees the evaluation and selection of capacity management software tools. + Produces and publishes capacity plans, expected consumption, growth and management of growth. + Integrates demand forecasting **Additional Information** + Up to 25% Domestic and International travel to be expected. + Relocation is not available for this position. + Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position. \#TX #Seguin #Lafayetta #Indiana #Alpharetta #Georgia #Dallas **Summary Pay Range:** $126,000.00 - $189,000.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
