JR68427 Global Sales ManagerGlobal Sales Manager at Micron Japan Ltd has ownership and accountability for general business management and development activities specific to Micron’s strategic customers. You will be responsible for a relentless focus on design wins and revenue generation, building a deep customer relationship, understanding memory architectures, and meeting business unit expectations. Global Sales Manager generally manages one Global Account or leads several Accounts manager who manages regional key accounts but may be assigned more. Sales ownership is encouraged throughout the entire sales process.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage customer relationships to establish broad and deep relationships at targeted customersDefine account plan (strategies, goals and objectives) with stakeholders and coordinate internal resources for execution to the planOwn account responsibility and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve account planAnalyze business to identify strengths and weaknesses and take actions to address areas for improvementManage accounts to develop new business opportunities, while attaining corporate objectives and goalsDrive sales growth and resulting gross margin contributionNegotiate effectively for long term agreements, pricing, volumes/share and terms of saleAnalyze TAM, SAM, SOM and MSS with competitive analysis and manage forecast by product and programUnderstand customers applications and product/business requirements and being the customer voice into internal MicronConduct presentations and coordinate internally to direct supporting activities Create transparency/visibility to progress and performanceRequirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in selling semiconductor to customers in Japan. Especially, better to have knowledge of memory products and experienced to make deal with Automotive OEM/Tier 1 companies (Not including semiconductor equipment/materials)Strength in understanding of customer requirement for Automotive application and business culture.Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English and Japanese for both internally and externallyWork with cross functional teams applying broad knowledge to solve potential problemsAbility to manage customer demand forecast, performance metrics, and system utilizationSupply chain process knowledgeHave skill to manage both customer and DistributionAbility to manage own account by collaboration with FAE/QA/supply teamAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, to multitask while meeting deadlines, and drive for resultsAbility to travel domestically and internationally to various locationsEducation:
