Your role and responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Global Sales Support Specialist at Global Marketing & Sales Organization - ELSB/ELSP.You will be supporting the local sales organizations and product marketing teams in the assigned set of countries with technical and commercial tasks such as pricing and other customer inquiries.In this position, you will serve as the key technical resource in the assigned area with a focus on Switches and Fusegear portfolio and technology.Reporting to the Switches & Fusegear Global Sales Support Team Leader, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in providing customers with efficient and effective solutions.Preferred location is Vaasa, Finland or Global (North Europe)The main job responsibilities include:•\tSupporting our local sales organizations and product marketing teams with technical and commercial tasks while acting as the main technical contact point in the assigned area.•\tProviding advice by answering technical enquiries and requests as well as providing technical support and proposing solutions during technical meetings. Challenging frequently asked questions coming from the market.•\tPerforming analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs.•\tOffering product/application/service-related training, and presentations.•\tCreating and maintaining prices while using the proper tools according to price policy.•\tContributing to customer events during their visits to the local factory site.•\tBe in trend with new technologies and digital transformation related to own area of responsibility.•\tLiving ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Qualifications for the roleA university degree in Electrical Engineering and/or a solid technical background in electrotechnics.Proficient IT program skills from MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), SAP and case management in Salesforce.A strong customer-focused mindset and willpower that contribute to our future success. In addition, self-motivation, open mind, curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies and take ownership as well as a collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong communication skills.Knowledge about ABB low voltage business and previous experience in sales or commercial tasks will be highly appreciated.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Finnish and Swedish skills are seen as an advantage.
