We are currently looking for a Global Security Leader – EHS Department to join us at our facility in Glen Mills, PA.
Job Summary:
The Global Security Leader is responsible for the strategic identification of security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities as well as the prevention and protection of the company’s employees, assets, property, and product.
Reporting to the Global Sr. Director Environment, Health, and Safety the Security Director will collaboratively ensure that the company’s security programs meet or exceed industry practices, standards, and applicable regulatory expectations. The Security Director will act as a primary subject matter expert, and work closely with EHS, legal, human resources, risk management, and operations teams globally.
Essential Functions:
Support leadership in the development and maintenance of business continuity and crisis management/incident command programs.Develop strategies to identify, assess, prevent, protect and mitigate all risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to safeguard people, assets, products, and property.Advise company leadership on potential risks and response to threats and losses.Develop and implement a workplace violence protection program.Manage company regulated chemicals security programs (such as CFATS).Serve as the central resource, responsible for promoting consistency in the company’s physical security policies, procedures, and practices for the protection of confidence and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other compliance requirements.Establish ongoing communication with senior leadership on the status of security issues, evolving risks, and related recommendations.Develops metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of all security programs and personnel.Support leadership in the development and maintenance of business continuity and crisis management/incident command programs, including planning and conducting exercises with local first responders.Proactively establish and maintain relationships with appropriate government and law enforcement agencies.Assesses executive security threats and develops recommendations for executive protection.Responsible for existing security and threat management intelligence software.Lead travel security advisor for the company.Serve as lead or technical support for major incident investigations involving security.Develops budgets and forecasts to support business needs, goals and objectives.Must Have Requirements
10 years of experience in security and EHSBS required; science or engineering focus preferred but not required.Regional or global experience at an enterprise level (not single site experience)Security program ownership (security program development/ownership, sustaining security programs) -able to demonstrate broad security knowledge.Our Company:
