As the Security Strategy - Vice President in Global Security, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing the firm’s corporate security strategy, advancing security capabilities, and cultivating effective collaborations across functional and product teams. In this role, you will ensure that security initiatives are strategically aligned with business objectives and responsive to emerging threats, while supporting innovation and operational excellence through the integration of security best practices and the promotion of a proactive risk management culture.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and refine a cross-system strategy to advance Global Security’s refreshed Operating Model for Corporate Security in North America to best-in-class levels of maturityPromote the Operating Model for Corporate Security across JPMC and with other relevant partnersCoordinate and collaborate across multiple Global Security functions to identify emerging security trends, threats, and opportunities to inform strategy and capability developmentLead liaison with Global Security Product teams and support product development and delivery processesBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Business Continuity, Technology, Legal, and other teams, and represent Global Security in executive-level meetings and working groupsImplement continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness, efficiency, and resilience Partner with Finance & Business Management to coordinate the management of the strategic agenda in line with budgetary and process requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in organizational strategy, governance, or program management Expertise in strategic planning and execution of large-scale and complex initiativesAbility to anticipate and identify risks/ blockers to progress and collaborate to develop effective mitigantsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workloads within a busy, dynamic environmentExcellent communication (both written and oral) skills, including the ability to present security and technology concepts to a broad range of stakeholdersAdept at developing relationships across organizational lines, including with senior executives
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Significant experience in a similarly complex public or private sector organization (preferably in a regulated context but not limited to the financial industry)Experience working in or knowledge of security operations, including guard management, technical security systems, and incident managementManagement consulting or internal consulting/ corporate strategy team experienceA relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certifications
