Global Security Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Security Specialist in our Salem, NH office. This position will report to the Global Security Services Manager.
The Global Security Specialist is required to support On Call International personnel and clients by providing in depth global security insight and advice, monitoring geo-political climates and incidents, coordinating response in the event of security related situations, and providing a variety of training on best security practices.


Performance Objectives

Gain understanding of the Global Security process: During the first 30 days learn how to serve as an advisor to clients experiencing international security issues. Establish knowledge on company systems, protocols and processes to provide intelligence analysis and briefings on global areas through subject matter expertise and research.

Create risk assessments: During the first 90 days be able to write customized risk assessments and act as the primary contact during security crises with little oversight needed. Begin to understand On Call services and products by attending sales meetings and client calls.

Provide intelligence analysis and briefings: During the first 6 months provide intelligence analysis and briefings to clients, colleagues, and senior management. Identify critical decision-making skills to assist clients and colleagues through security crisis and independently support sales staff during client meetings and calls to explain company services and products.

Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
Education

Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Security, Emergency Management, Business, Journalism, Communications, or related discipline preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

Up to two years of relevant experience

Experience with mapping software or data visualization platforms.

Knowledge of travel tracking and intelligence platforms.

Formatting skills, specifically proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience with developing Crisis Management Plans, Emergency Action Plans, or Business Continuity Plans.

Overseas work experience preferred but not required.

Military, law enforcement, or government background preferred.
