The Global Component Manager for Semiconductors will ensure the company remains competitive in the fast-evolving semiconductor market. This position will effectively support the integration of key manufacturers into the supply chain and navigate the complexities of international trade restrictions with a primary focus on the Asian region, while also conducting and supporting various global projects.

Scouting and developing Asian semiconductor companiesInitiating and implementing supplier management processes for semiconductor companies (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)Managing and Negotiating contracts with suppliersSupporting escalation processes and supplier visits and pre-audit processesAligning and preparing yearly price negotiationsSupporting projects such as Resilience, Sustainability, and Decarbonization

Your defining qualities

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, business administration, or international tradeAt least 3 years’ experience in electronic component manufacturing processes or electronic components distribution, preferably in foreign or joint venture companiesExperience in supplier development and managementAbility to identify and understand cause and effect relationships, identify key issues, and define and implement effective solutionsThorough understanding of broad business practices including Production Management, Advanced Manufacturing StrategiesExcellent English and Chinese language skillsCultural awareness and ability to operate effectively in different cultural environmentsUnderstanding of market evolution, threats, opportunities, and technological trends
