Demonstrated expertise in creating business growth strategies based on strong patient and health care provider communities’ engagement programs. The **Global Senior** **Director** **of Patient and Community Engagement** will be a critical role and visible leader within the Ostomy Care Global Marketing Team, leading, planning and executing consumer strategies including patient program excellence and overall customer experience that is built and scaled globally. This individual will lead a team of marketers, directly and through matrix relationships, charged to educate and activate patient and health care provider (HCP) audiences for Convatec. Through these efforts, this leader will lead design and implementation of the consumer launch roadmap, and through this plan improve community and consumer education, understanding of best care alternatives and coordination of the me+ program delivery through service and support solutions. This position is responsible for establishing strategic direction through analysis of insights to drive key strategic choices. More specifically, this position will focus building and scaling the me+ program globally with the intention to increase its value and awareness among both patients, caregivers and health care providers. They will lead the launch of program development campaigns, as well as drive a clear customer experience strategy and solutions that crosscut audiences. The me+ programme is one of the ways Convatec delivers on its commitment of forever caring for both patients and healthcare professionals. It’s designed to support a patient’s journey from hospital to home with a personalised continuum of care. The me+ programme is core to our commercial model and customer experience globally. + Leading the development of strategies, messaging, and resources for patients andcaregivers that deliver against overall business objectives + Leading a clear vision for overall customer experience, through strong collaboration with our me+ teams around the world, medical affairs colleagues, and other cross-functional teams. + Guiding the development and overseeing tactical implementation of the me+ patient program plan (including but not limited to CRM, social media and digital) and program’s ecosystem of services, support and education. + Serving as a core member of the Global Marketing Team, leading quarterly agile planning, brand strategy and patient program development for the patient/caregiver and HCP audiences. + Identifying and monitoring key performance metrics and optimizing programs and initiatives to maximize ROI + Coach, mentor and develop a team of global marketers focused on scaling and growing our patient program globally. **ABOUT YOU:** **Qualifications:** The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of consumer audiences as well as expertise working in products that have strong patient service programs.  This leader should have a demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead projects that focus on supporting the intersections between patients, care partners, advocacy and HCP audiences.   S/he will partner with marketing and cross-functional leadership to prioritize strategies to focus and drive success through complex challenges in a developing market.  The ideal candidate will lead creation of innovative customer experience plan and hit the ground running to directly impact the pain points within the patient journey.  Acting as a cross-functional team leader and successfully partner with cross-functional and external partners.  S/he also has: + Strong track record of success in deep commercial marketing and launch expertise, with a focus on consumer audiences, including making key business choices and leading implementation across the matrix. + A proven ability to prioritize and manage complex and innovative projects and establish vision and direction within a fast moving, challenging and energetic commercial environment. + strong personal drive and be a highly collaborative, perceptive, problem solver and exhibit strategic insight and innovative agility.  + Excellent communication skills that lead to proactive, clear internal and cross-collaboration communication **Experience Required:** + Bachelor’s degree required + Seasoned commercial professional, with 10+ years of commercial experience, within those, 5+ years of consumer marketing, patientprograms or marketing adjacent experience. + Minimum of 4 years medical device or biotech/pharma marketing experience.  + Ability to analyze data and insight to drive key choices and define a crisp 3-year customer strategy. + Strong performance marketing acumen, agile marketing experience highly desirable. + Work well within a fast paced and dynamic global environment with an ability to have an impact in a short space of time. + Must exhibit strong leadership skills, ability to perform in fast paced environments and ability to influence without authority. + Self-starter who functions well both independently and within a team.  People management experience is a plus.   + Strong scientific/medical aptitude, ability to communicate complex scientific/medical concepts in a health literate, clear and concise manner and translate them into business growth opportunities. + Proven track record of success launching and scaling customer programs globally to achieve business KPIs.
