About the Team
The Global eCommerce and Marketing team manages the strategy and execution of the direct-to-consumer business and marketing channels for WSI's international and franchise markets.
About the Role
WSI Global Ecommerce is looking for a Global Senior Site Operations Specialist to assist in the successful implementation of web and app releases for all Canadian sites. This role will help ensure projects are delivered on time, and meet WS quality standards. Key responsibilities include release testing (planning, implementation, UAT, deliverables) and supporting operational improvements, site partnerships, and testing strategies. The ideal candidate has experience with technical website feature releases, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced, multi-channel retail environment.

Oversee the day to day of project releases, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, budget-friendly execution. Execute cross functional communication with technology partners, product managers, and site merchandising teams. Coordinate improved site functionality, internal testing, and user acceptance processes. Assist the site operations manager for Canadian ecommerce sites and apps as needed. Coordinate and execute testing for project releases and major site launches. Conduct full QA testing for site initiatives, prioritizing and validating fixes. Maintain strong relationships across brands, shared services, and vendors. Monitor web best practices, competitive landscape, and business goals to recommend improvements. Troubleshoot and escalate website issues, ensuring resolution.

We’re excited about you because you possess... (Essential Functions and Experience)
2+ years in project management or web production, with knowledge of web development processes, testing software, and site architecture. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and project management tools. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and with executive leadership. Analytical mindset, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Meticulous focus on accuracy and ability to manage projects independently. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, or a related field or 5 years of equivalent experience Strong interest in Williams Sonoma brands.
Technical Competencies required:
Content management system experience required Familiarity with front-end web development, HTML, debugging tools, Github Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Test & Target suite is a plus
